The follow-up meeting on the problems of power cuts to production units located in the region was held on Sunday at the region's conference hall.
According to the region's public relations report, during this meeting, which was held in the presence of Engineer Mojtaba Samrah, responsible for consumption of the electricity distribution company in the south of Kerman province, and of the city's electricity managers, Engineer Mirzadeh, the district manager, while thanking electricity officials for their monitoring and support, called for minimum power outages and outages. current for production units. He pointed out that the Sirjan Special Economic Zone has a nominal electricity consumption capacity of around 40 megawatts.
Although its actual consumption is less than 20 megawatts, the power company can pay special attention to industries in the region and have fewer outages. According to Mirzadeh, currently a combined cycle power plant with the participation of the region produces 4 megawatts of electricity, which contributes to the national electricity grid, and in the future several photovoltaic solar power generation units are under construction .
At this meeting, Engineer Samra said: Electricity consumption in Kerman province increased in June this year compared to the same period last year. He said: The cooperation and sympathy of the people of the province in proper consumption as well as the cooperation and assistance of the industries of the province in holiday plans can avoid power outages in the province and the city.
He asked subscribers from all sectors to continue their cooperation in the field of optimal electricity consumption so that we can spend the current summer without power cuts.
According to the consumption manager of the Southern Electricity Distribution Company of Kerman Province, high-consumption units will experience power outages up to two days a week.
