Free economic zones of Belarus and Iran sign memorandum of cooperation

FEZ Minsk and FEZ Maku of the Islamic Republic of Iran have signed a memorandum of cooperation, BELTA reports citing the press service of the free economic zone Minsk.
The document is aimed at expanding bilateral trade and investment cooperation, including participation in joint projects, business events, trade and investment missions.
The signing ceremony took place within the framework of the business visit of the Belarusian delegation to Tehran, organized by the Minsk branch of the BelCCI with the support of the Belarusian Embassy in Iran.
Today, during the Iran-Belarus business forum, First Deputy Head of the Administration of FEZ Minsk Sergei Bubenko presented to the Iranian companies the investment potential of the free economic zone and areas for cooperation between Belarusian and Iranian enterprises.
In addition, the Belarusian delegation visited FEZ Maku as part of the program of events. In the course of B2B negotiations with the business community, the parties discussed opportunities for cooperation and expansion of trade and economic cooperation between the two countries.
