The first phase of the Pars wire rope plant with a production capacity of 40,000 tons will be commissioned in December this year.

According to the region's public relations report, Pars Wire Rope Industry Company was established in 2009 with the aim of constructing a factory to produce 60,000 tons of pre-tensioned wire rope and steel wire rope in the Sirjan Special Economic Zone, and currently its shareholders are Jahan Steel, investment and development is the focus of Gohar and Gohar Trabar.

According to Majid Sistani, the plant manager, this project consists of two phases, in the first phase, all kinds of pre-tensioned wires are produced, and in the second phase, all kinds of steel cables are produced, and According to the schedule, the first phase of this plant is expected to reach its production capacity of 40,000 tons by the end of December this year and its second phase with a capacity of 20,000 tons will be commissioned by the end of January next year. With the full implementation of this plan, more than 300 people will be employed directly and about 1,000 people indirectly.

Explaining the products of this factory, he said: In the first phase, P.C Wire is used to reinforce prestressed structures, in subway sleepers, ceiling beams and P.C. Strand is produced for buildings, mansions, bridges, water sources, airports, aircraft hangars, atomic energy stations, concrete sleepers under railway tracks, etc.

Sistani continued that the manufacturer of the equipment of this factory is one of the reliable European brands, for this reason, the products produced by this factory will comply with world standards and in terms of quality, they will be competitive with European products. similar , and it is possible to export this product to other countries.

It is hoped that with the full launch of this national and strategic project, which is a unique plan in the Middle East, despite the growth of production and employment for more than 1300 people directly and indirectly, it will solve a large part of the problem of the country's internal needs for the aforementioned products and to prevent foreign currency from leaving the country, and also according to the information obtained, more than 60 million euros are exported from the country each year for the import of all kinds of yarns and steel cables.
